I hate to say it but...."January, don't let the door hit you on your way out!".
No time to blog lately...what a month or should I say what a month and a half. Not sure why the proverbial black cloud continues to linger over the Owen family. God has sent rays of sunshine along the way, like sweet little Z and the comforting peace that Zane was not meant to be ours. But with major car trauma, overcommitments, illness, stressing work responsibilities and pure evil, the Devil has been working overtime!
Looking at this list I am reminded of a few things...we have a car to get around in, we are healthy to give our time to others, dealing with minor sickness isn't terminal, we are gainfully employed, and we have each other.
With a heavy heart, physically run down, and anger, I come to the feet of my Lord and beg for mercy. I pray for peace and protection for all those that I love and hold dear. Get thee behind me Satan...you are not welcome here!

Need to Breathe is my current favorite band and this song is one reason why. I'm with you on goodbye to stinky January. 2010 did not start off well for us either (no comparison to what you guys are going through). Who knows what the Lord has planned for both of our families?
