Celebrating the Final 3 Days in My 30s!

I'm so excited that the day is almost here that I will welcome a new decade! Tonight I'll be celebrating with a few friends at DSW and Ixtapa...can't wait to learn what the future holds. As I reach this milestone, I've been reflecting on what's really important to me and my family. Perspective has been a good word that sums up my past few weeks. My focus has returned and I am using my time more wisely. I've started reading a new book called "That's My Son" by Rick Johnson that helps moms learn how to help raise good men. I've enjoyed close company on several occasions with a dear friend. I am making an effort to stop, look, and listen when someone is sharing something with me...focus my attention on them instead of thinking about what's coming next. The cooler temperatures have put a spring in my step! I can't wait for this weekend to spend time with out of town friends watching football and catching up. Feeling blessed and so excited to embrace what's next...

And yes, I am keeping my fork since the best is yet to come!
